Joining a Car Club

Car clubs are great places to meet up with other Scion Owners and get to know others with shared interests. If you've never been a part of a car club before – read on and find out a little bit more.

A car club is nothing more than a few people gathered who happen to have a similar interest around cars. You may find that size of a club, variety of cars, activities, member qualifications, and expectations may vary greatly from club to club.

Whether you'd like to casually hang out in a family-friendly atmosphere or be heavily involved in modding one another's cars – there's sure to be a club in your area right for you (and if there isn't, start one!) Meeting up can be a great source of friendships as well as helpful advice or inspiration for your Scion.

Think about what you'd like out of a car club and then begin searching for one that fits your interest. There are many clubs, such as Scikotics, which are exclusive to Scion Owners. Others may center around a certain style or be very performance-minded. The Groups page here at Scion Owners is a good place to start looking - or your Scion Dealer may be able to suggest some local clubs.

Facebook or online forums may be a good first connection with a club - but the best way to know if they're right for you is to simply show up! Find out when meeting's are (some are listed here at Scion Owners Events). Most car clubs have weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly informal get togethers.

Once you show up and start talking to people, you'll find that car clubs are great groups of terrific people and an easy way to enrich your Scion experience!
