VIOLATIONS OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT
It is very important to understand that this section of our Code of Conduct is not designed to cover everything. We may take action including, but not limited to, issuing a warning, banning your account(s) and/or IP addresses, or deleting your post(s)/thread(s) if your conduct at ScionOwners.com is counterproductive to the Code of Conduct's principal guidelines.
LANGUAGE AND TROLLING
ScionOwners.com discourages the use of derogatory or inappropriate terms, especially in an offensive context against a person, race, culture, group or organization.
Inappropriate language also includes, but is not limited to, anything that promotes hate and violence or advocates hatred or discrimination against individuals, groups, races, cultures or organizations (for example, because of their ethnic/national origin, gender, skin color, culture, etc).
Posting provocative, outrageous or pointless messages only to get a response from others, i.e. "trolling," is strictly prohibited. Repeated violators may be permanently banned from ScionOwners.com.
PERSONAL ATTACKS AND HARASSMENT
In order to maintain a positive atmosphere, no personal attacks or insults will be tolerated. While discussions may become heated, it is not an excuse to resort to attacks or insults.
Any personal attacks towards anyone – moderator, forum member, or a visitor who is likely to view it on the site – is subject to the message being deleted and action taken against the user, regardless of how pertinent or thoughtful the rest of the message might be.
ScionOwners.com does not tolerate any harassment, insult or disrespect against moderators, staff members, forum members and potential visitors.
ADVERTISING AND SPAM
All posts and threads are read by moderators and staff members of ScionOwners.com. Any questionable content will be immediately edited or removed for further investigation. Any post that is considered advertising for one's self-interests, including the blatant promotion of a business selling products or services, or a competing company, vehicle or web site, may fit under this category.
While you may be allowed to promote your web site(s) if it is appropriate to the content of the topic, you may not create a thread for the purpose of promoting a web site you run or are affiliated with, or post links to these sites anywhere in a topic that does not ask for it.
Cross-posting the same topic(s) in multiple forum categories to promote or solicit a quicker response is also discouraged on ScionOwners.com.
